Like many parents, I constantly try to find ways to help my children advance their reading and math scores. For the past 5 years, my kids have made progress; however, the progress was never seem to be ideal. After many months of planning, our online program was able to start successfully in October, 2024. My children did after-school math and reading/writing practice for 6-7 hours per week for about 8 months. I am happy to share the beautiful progress they made this past academic year, and I look forward to next year’s i-Ready scores.
My oldest child, 14 years old. He was always one grade level behind in reading. This past i-Ready reading score showed that he is on early 9th grade, which is a score that I waited to see for a long time.My second child, 12 years old. She is a strong learner (especially in math); however, her reading scores were always not very ideal. This past i-Ready scores showed very impressive progress! For the first time, I was able to see “Late 6” and “Level 7” (above grade-level standard scores). The online pogram really helped her become an advanced learner.My third child, 9 years old. He skipped a grade so he is one year younger than his peers. He has impressive math scores and indeed made really nice progress in reading this past school year. I was impressed to see “Late 4” in algrebra and “Mid 4” in Comp Info Text. The online program has really helped him be more confident in test taking.
